MAKSYM CHAIKA PRESENTE!

Maksym Chaika, a leader of the Odessa's Sich nationalist movement was stabbed in a fight with a gang of so-called "antifa" on the 17th of April 2009. The most passionate persons are always in vanguard of a national revolution, and, unfortunately, they usually die first.

Maksym was the one, who had enough of courage and love to his fatherland to raise the Ukrainian nationalist red-black flag in Odessa in times, when it was really dangerous. After Maksym had died someone compared him with Horst Wessel, as he also was the one, who passed first. Yes, he had fell long before the start of real struggle for the ideals he advocated, but his contribution to modern Ukrainian nationalist movement is great and his death is sacred! For his activities and right nationalist position Maksym had been criticized by local liberals, however, for some (known) reason there was no one of them among the brave city defenders during the street clashes with armed pro-Russian separatists on May 2 in Odessa, but there was a lot of Maksym's comrades, and, I'm sure his spirit was there on that day!
